Try the bitterballen as a starter, five traditional round Dutch croquettes served with mustard, or a lovely picnic basket for two filled with a French baguette, garlic gamba’s, Italian cold meat cuts, brie and gorgonzola, fig preserve, fruit, marinated olives, salad, Amsterdammertjes, sparkling wine or Ega Rooibos tea. This should be ordered two hours in advance. The pizzas are truly unique and the breakfast pizza with free range eggs and bacon topped with Parmigiano Reggiano is a must-try. A wide variety of coffees, teas, wines, dessert wines and sparkling wines are available. As Carolina says: 'Buon appetito, Lekker eet, Enjoy, Bon appétit, Eet smakelijk, Selamat makan, Born up a tree!'
