Kwaggaskloof Dam

Part of the Brandvlei Dam, Kwaggaskloof Dam (also spelled Quaggaskloof), is used for long distance swimming as well as water skiing, jet skiing and speed boats. The dam has a club house, launch pad and the setting has stunning views. It's a popular spot for fishing carp, whitefish, bluegills, bigmouth and smallmouth black bass.

Montagu Leidam

One of Montagu's most popular and easily accessible attractions is the Leidam with its large variety of indigenous birds. Situated in the heart of the town, it’s well worth a visit. Here you will find approximately 18 local species as well as 52 migrant species. Walk to the lei-dam at sunset and see hundreds of birds flying in to roost in the treetops.
