Perfect for lazy breakfasts, leisurely lunches, sundowners or romantic dinners, this charming venue is disarmingly casual with just a dollop of sophistication. Delicious food and friendly service are the backbone of this cosy and trendy cafe with stunning views of Robben Island and Lion’s Head.

Laid back but trendy, The Sidewalk is the only place to be for those who love leisurely cafe life.

Trading hours:
Monday to Saturday: 8 am - 10:30 pm;
Sunday: 9 am - 2 pm.

I love this place. It's cosy and warm and the perfect place to impress a date. The food is delicious, especially the calamari. Give it a whirl, you will not be disappointed.

We arrived on a cold winter night, and was absolutely delighted that the restaurant was comfortably warm. The attentive service is indeed something to commend, as well as the varied menu of delicious options. After finishing a lovely bottle of wine we received our meals, which was an instant culinary success. Overall, we had a fantastic dinner and a splendid evening; the Sidewalk Cafe is without a doubt a high recommendation.
