The scenery is amazing, relaxing and refreshing. The experience cannot be fully described by words, you need to experience a walk on the V and A Waterfront to be able understand and relate to the narrations of those who are able to do so. Therefore, if you can afford, please visit the V and A Waterfront for amazing acts, boat rides, actual- and/or window shopping, tasty meals...the list goes on. The is an interest for every one, from pensioners to the middle aged to the newly wedded to students, teenagers and children. Its a one in a million experience, try it.

The Waterfront is the first thing to do on a tourist's list. Sporting a large shopping mall, and many more little shops; you will be spoilt for choice. Stroll around, eat out at the fabulous restaurants. Balthazars and Den Anker are my top favourites. Go on a sun down boat trip, or even as far as Robben Island for a tour. There is something for everyone.

Our all time favourite vacation locale. We try and stay at the Waterfront Apartments because primarily of the security and easy acessibility. Also SafariNow.com is a very reliable site to make bookings from. The best shoppping and resturants are close by. For convenience there is the cinema and the food court ( under renovation now). Also this is a great hub to see the rest of Western Cape from, the vinyards, Cape point, Stellenbosch, Hermanus etc.

Set against a backdrop of magnificent sea and mountain views this world-famous Waterfront has exciting shopping and entertainment venues as well as world-class hotels and luxury apartments in the residential marina. Comeand discover and experience for yourself.

It's easy to spend a day in the Waterfront just people watching, listening to live music, shopping, eating in one of the many restaurants, or just stopping for a coffee. But there is so much more to see & do - the Aquarium, a visit to Robben Island, take a boat trip, or a ride on Cape Town's answer to the London Eye - except you go round four times instead of one!! We love it!
