Flex those bronzed muscles on Strand beach. The battle to own the beach is back! Does your team have what it takes to dominate the beach and be crowned the champions? Grab your mates and get to the beaches this December for a killer season of Touchies. There are 7 opportunities to sweat it out and own the beach this year. The first leg kicks off on the 13th of December at the Mother City’s most glamorous beach, Camps Bay (or is it Clifton 4th?). Eish, it’s going to sizzle!

16 December - Strand
21 December - Hermanus (Onrus Strand)
23 December - Struisbaai
26 December - Stilbaai
29 December - Mossel Bay (Diaz Strand)
31 December - Hartenbos
Strand has a long 5 km stretch of white, sandy beach ideal for long walks. Fishing, surfing and wind surfing are very popular here and the waves are quite good. There is also an Olympic sized, centrally heated swimming pool.
An important date to remember is the 26th December - Stilbaai's 30th Anniversary. “What?” you say. Yes, this year will see the 30th Touch Rugby Tournament being held on this notorious beach front. This year the Hot Summer of Touch is going to be massive.
