Hit the mountain track with both feet flying this autumn. Serious trail runners can relish the scenic 12km Trail Run and families up for a mellow challenge will enjoy the 5km Fun Walk/Run in the Boland. Both routes start at Coetzenburg athletic stadium, cross the sports field and immediately turn to the foot of scenic Stellenbosch Mountain. The course winds through fynbos, eucalyptus, pine and indigenous bush offering views over Stellenbosch, the Boland, False Bay and Table Mountain. It offers a wide variety of surfaces, from technical single tracks to level jeep tracks, plus a few meters of pavement, tartan and grass.
