We are situated 4 km outside of Springbok in the heart of Namaqualand on 25 Hectares. Namaqualand is known for its spring flowers, rare succulents, unique indigenous plants, rich history, hospitality, unreal rock formations and the Richtersveld. We are only one hour’s drive from the Namibian border and nearly half way between Cape Town, RSA and Windhoek, Namibia. With lots to do and see at Daisy, Springbok and the surrounding areas, this is a destination worth visiting over a few days.

Bring the kids for a relaxing break in a farm style environment, where you can take walks in the surrounding Koppies, cycle, ride horses or run freely in the valleys. After a day full of fun and adventure, you can relax at our pool, enjoy a nightcap at the Boma or just enjoy the brilliant stars and fresh unpolluted air. This picturesque establishment is wheelchair friendly. We offer our guests a variety of facilities to use. There is a swimming pool to cool off in, in the heat of summer, there are braai facilities, and safe parking and your pets are welcome. In the town of Springbok, you will find all major shops and banks.

We can arrange horse trails, picnics, flower, historical and mining tours, hiking, 4X4, Richtersveld Tours, river rafting, quad biking and golfing. There is a restaurant at Daisy where dinners are served. Booking is essential. Daisy Country Lodge is situated 4 km outside Springbok. There are six restaurants in Springbok arranging on quality and price. No French cuisine, only steak houses and the like. Springbok also have takeaway restaurants and a KFC. We would recommend the following: Wimpy, open until 19h00, Taurus Steak Ranch Melkboschuil Restaurant El Digo.

We offer 55 caravan sites, all with warm water in the ablutions and electricity at each stand. We have another seven self-catering units for people who want to have the camping experience but without the actual tents and caravans. There is a large swimming pool for the hot days in summer. Laundry services can be arranged on request. We are wheelchair friendly.

Springbok Caravan Park is situated in the small town of Springbok on the N7 between Cape Town and Namibia. Only an hour from the Namibian border, it is the perfect stopover on your trip. It is situated on a farm just outside Springbok on the R355 Airport Road and borders on the golf course. The small sheep farm is ringed by the glacier sculptured domes of the Kamiesberg Mountains and the hills where Simon van der Stel extracted copper ore in late 1685 can be seen from here.

In late winter and spring the flowers provide an unforgettable kaleidoscope of colours which is unique to Namaqualand. Stables are available for guests transporting horses.

There are two air-conditioned bedrooms with en-suite bathrooms that can accommodate five people sharing. A self-catering kitchen is available. The lounge is air-conditioned, has DStv premium, and an inside braai but an outside braai is also available. The guest house is a standalone unit. Children and well-behaved pets are welcome and will enjoy watching the horses and little lambs.

Namastat Lodge and Caravan Park offers comfortable accommodation situated just outside of Springbok. It lies in a narrow valley surrounded by the Koperberg Mountains, in the heart of the Namaqualand. It is the last major town before Namibia and it is known as the flower capital.

We offer four Bungalows with double or single beds and 22 Campsites, all sharing the ablution facilities. All the campsites have electricity points and water taps. There is a communal kitchen and a braai area for great entertainment.

The attractive town of Springbok is formed around a central hill, known by locals as Klipkoppie/Stone Hill, that was used by the Boers during the Second Boer War as a fort for its incredible vantage point. Views from here across the valley are beautiful, as are the examples of flowers during spring every year that not only blossom on the little hill but in the surrounding scrubland as well. The hill is also the site of a modest stone church built in 1921, and remains of the walls of the original fort.
