Jovali is situated on 11 hectares of stunning countryside, a mere 6 km from the Clarens village. We offer two self-catering studio units, each beautifully and tastefully decorated.

Villa 2004 has a covered braai area leading onto the gardens of the estate. There is a queen-size bed and a sleeper couch, as well as a bathroom with a bath, shower, basin and toilet. The unit is fully-equipped for self-catering.

Villa 2516 is a luxury ground floor unit that leads onto a patio with barbecue facilities. The unit comprises of a bedroom with double-size bed, a bathroom with bath, shower, basin, and toilet, and a fully-equipped kitchen for self-catering. The villa is privately owned and serviced daily. All linen except beach towels are provided.

The Hooting Owl guest house is a unique African thatch bushveld lodge set in a coastal environment. This hidden jewel was custom-built to blend harmoniously into its surroundings.

Hilltops is a free-standing house located on a north-facing slope overlooking the village of Clarens, with breathtaking views towards Mount Horeb and the Maluti Mountains.

We have four chalets which are identical in size and layout however each one has been uniquely decorated and furnished to create its own atmosphere and feel. We have 7th Heaven Chalet, Linga Longa Chalet, Lucky No. 8 Chalet and Thaba Lehae Chalet.

The Postman's Loft is situated in the heart of Clarens Village. This cosy, one-bedroom apartment overlooks the Post House Restaurant and has a spacious balcony where you can relax and enjoy the peaceful atmosphere.

Patcham Place is situated in the heart of Clarens in the Eastern Free State. The village is only 15 km from the beautiful Golden Gate National Park, in the foothills of the Malutis.

Clarens Retreat is owned and run by Marcel and Karen, who moved to South Africa from the south coast of England in 2010. The property offers three comfortably furnished units which are serviced daily, enabling guests to make the most their time in Clarens.
