Located on the scenic banks of the Crocodile River, this luxurious thatch-roof house overlooks the Kruger National Park. Hippo Hills can accommodate 10 guests in five en-suite bedrooms. Upstairs has three large bedrooms; one with a double and the other two with twin beds. These lead to a large viewing deck and bar area where visitors can enjoy a sunset drink while watching a variety of bird and animal life.

Downstairs has two more bedrooms with one double bed and twin beds respectively. All of the rooms enjoy air-conditioning, ceiling fans and en-suite bathrooms. The rooms also offer lovely views of the Crocodile River.

The double-storey house has an open-plan kitchen, dining room and lounge area with a satellite television and PVR. As a visitor, you have the option to cater for yourself using the fully serviced kitchen and outside braai or dine at the á la carte restaurant, which boasts a large selection of fine African cuisine.

Experience game drives in the Kruger National Park, go for walks with wild animals, enjoy stargazing in the African sky or open-air dining and bird watching. Henk van Rooyen is a lovely resort situated in the wildlife sanctuary, Marloth Park.

The resort offers guests the choice of staying in one of the comfortable chalets or rondavels, or make use of the caravan stands situated on the river bank. The chalets and rondawels are furnished with double or single beds and can sleep four to six people. Each of the 10 caravan stands is roofed and each has a private braai area. The upgraded ablution facilities and the scullery room are shared between the stands, chalets and rondavels and consist of showers only. The resort also has a lovely pool.

Situated close to Komatipoort, Marloth forms part of the southern boundary of the Kruger National Park. Residents of Marloth are not allowed to fence their properties, creating unique experiences like waking up to find a bushbuck or a hippo in front of your caravan or chalet. Elephants are also nearby as they love to drink from and play in the Crocodile River and lions have been seen from time to time.

Each rondavel is privately set in a subtropical garden and features its own kitchenette, veranda and barbecue area. The Honeymoon Rondavels also offer air-conditioning, private spa baths and views over the garden, mountain and dam. The rooms adjoin the main house, and each has a lounge area with a TV, a bathroom en-suite, air-conditioning and a kitchenette. The rooms offer two separate entrances, one entrance is close to reception and the other is set in a private courtyard with barbecue facilities. The Sunbird Room also has a small room containing a double bunk bed and its own toilet and basin.

A full English breakfast is served on the veranda and should you wish to make an early start for the Kruger National Park, a packed breakfast will be provided. This is a comfortable little house situated in the charming Marloth Park, a wildlife sanctuary situated on the southern boundary of the Kruger National Park.

The house consists of three bedrooms, two bathrooms, a fully equipped kitchen, and an open-plan living area with a sleeper couch. There is a lovely braai area on the patio outside.

Marloth has its own wildlife and boasts four of the big five, with the exception of elephants. The Crocodile River forms the boundary between Marloth Park and the Kruger National Park, and you are lightly to spot elephants playing in the river.

With the wildlife restricted, you can walk freely along the river or enjoy some mountain biking on the many dirt roads.

Eden Game Lodge has its name for a reason. You truly feel like you are in the Garden of Eden when you are there. It is an upmarket luxury game lodge finished in all natural materials to make you feel like you are at home in the bush.

Eden Game Lodge is a unique concept in game lodges, where the main living area is entirely on the first and second floor, with most bedrooms located downstairs. This elevated position offers 180 degree views and it means that there is always a nice breeze to cool you down without the need for the air-conditioning, although the this is available for those days when your need it.

We offer two large double bedrooms with queen-size beds and en-suite bathrooms, and there is a third bedroom with four single beds. The downstairs area has a large lounge with leather couches and a TV for keeping the kids entertained in the evenings. Please bring your own play station or DVD player for the downstairs TV. There is also a covered patio, garage, laundry and carport complimented by a boma for evening campfires and bush braais. There is a main bedroom on the first floor which offers an open-plan double bath and basin, a private double shower and an en-suite toilet and bidet room. The bath is alongside its own large folding door which allows you to enjoy your bath with the feeling of being in the bush, or you can use the separate outside shower.

In the upstairs living area, there is a modern open-plan kitchen, a dining room and a large leather lounge. This area flows onto the covered patio and barbecue area for al fresco dining. This is the only lodge that has a lounge with a shaded en-suite splash pool. Enjoy the large sun deck for catching the rays in the comfy deck chairs. All modern appliances and kitchen fittings are provided for you to enjoy your self-catering holiday in the style you are accustomed to. There is a choice of wood or charcoal barbecues available on the upstairs patio for dining and relaxation.

The lodge is completed with the third level of the game viewing deck which allows seating for up to eight people while sipping drinks and viewing the hippos in the Crocodile River and the rhinos in the Kruger National Park on the opposite bank. The lodge offers a truly fantastic opportunity to just relax, enjoy the company of friends and revel in the unspoilt bush and animal life. The lodge comes with full armed response standby security and two TVs. We supply all linen, towels, coffee and tea. Please bring beach towels for swimming. A daily cleaning service is available at a nominal extra cost.

A breakage deposit of R2000 will be requested upon confirmation of the booking. This deposit is fully refundable within a week of your stay, provided there is no damage to the lodge. This is because we cannot take an authorisation on credit cards at the venue.
