Hout Bay Coffee Shop restaurant
Gabriella's in Hout Bay offers a beautiful environment, great service , good food and a place where the whole family can enjoy awesome fusion-inspired cuisine.
The extensive menu offers food that hints at the traditional, yet incorporates a modern twist. Great flavours combine beautifully, mainly due to the fresh produce being used and the passion of the chef who's got a keen eye (and palate) for detail. A favourite on the menu is the delectable, tender calamari, but it is strongly recommended that you try the lamb shank.
The restaurant is child friendly as well as wheelchair friendly. Gabriella's is also fully licensed. The restaurant is open from Monday to Sunday from 8 am until 5 pm, but on Thursday and Friday they stay open until 10 pm.
Enjoy great food, warm service, and a wonderful ambience in this gem in the Republic of Hout Bay.
Claremont Chinese restaurant
This traditional Chinese restaurant is warm and inviting, with that extra special Chinese flair. Stark contrasting blacks and reds, paper lanterns and fortune cookies on the counters turn this space into Mainland China.
Something to try is their stunning buffet, complete with chow mein, chop suey, egg fried rice, spring rolls, and all the other popular favourites when it comes to Chinese cuisine.
The restaurant also offers dim sums and their sushi menu is quite comprehensive with the regular maki, nigiri, sashimi, hand rolls and fashion sandwiches......and more.
With a great ambience, great value for money and great food that is prepared with passion, Mainland China definitely is a super power.
Western Cape Coffee Shop restaurant
This beautiful, trendy little coffee shop is situated in Willowbridge Mall in Durbanville amidst boutique restaurants and shops, and it truly fits in.
Praca offers a welcome retreat from a busy day of shopping and the service and ambience are top notch. They pride themselves on their coffees, and roasts their own in a restored antique Probat cast iron roaster. All roasts are used within seven days to ensure freshness and quality.
Delectable light lunches are served and you can enjoy a variety of perfectly prepared dishes that promises to satisfy.
Praca combines the craft of coffee with good food and a bustling, yet tranquil atmosphere.
Century City Coffee Shop restaurant
Vida e Caffé truly embodies the spirit and atmosphere of the typically European coffee shop. The simple but energetic interior reflects the buzz that can only come from an espresso.
The café serves delicious light meals that include a variety of rolls, wraps and salads with simple, yet filling and tasty ingredients. Try a wrap with slamon and mozzerella, or a freshly baked roll with chourico and egg.
There are some mouthwatering sweets on the menu including Apple Cinnamon and Lindt Chocolate muffins.
But now to the real reason for a visit, the drinks. Real arabica coffee with an intense aroma and beautiful flavour and even Lindt hot chocolate that can be combined with an espresso.
This espresso bar is a must-try.
