Description
The Magical and Untamed African MTB Race is back! Will you dig deep and be one of the Amabubesi? Created by Adida and the Absa Cape Epic team as a loyalty programme for multiple Absa Cape Epic finishers who return each year to ride the Absa Cape Epic, "Amabubesi" means "pack of lions" in Zulu - an excellent description for mountain bikers that earn a place in 'The Absa Cape Epic Finisher Club'.
Over 1000 of the toughest and most determined or just plain crazy mountain bike competitors will be slogging through dirt for 8 days and they don’t scare easy! Now renamed the Absa Cape Epic, the race will start and finish on Table Mountain. Riders will pound those pedals all the way to Gordon's Bay, Villiersdorp, Greyton, Oak Valley and then Lourensford Estate where their loved ones, their finisher’s medal, and a heroes’ welcome will be waiting!
