This quaint lodge is hidden away in a lush dune forest offering private and secluded cabins. The cabins sleep from two to eight people with either double or single beds. Some of the cabins are equipped with braai areas and some of the cabins are offered on a bed and breakfast basis. Guests are able to select the best option for them. All of the cabins are equipped with guest amenities and tea and coffee-making facilities.

Guests can enjoy breakfasts and a-la-carte dinners in the restaurant and pub lunches are available throughout the day. There is a bar area with stunning sea view as well as satellite TV for major sporting events.

The house consists of four bedrooms with air-conditioning, two bathrooms of which the main is en suite, a fully equipped kitchen, and an open-plan living area with a TV. Guests can relax on the large veranda with braai facilities and beautiful views.

There is one parking bay under the house, and another one in the general parking area. A large boathouse can also be rented on request.

The house consists of two bedrooms, two bathrooms, an open-plan living area with a TV and Dstv guest must bring their own decoder and smart card, and a fully equipped kitchen. Guests can relax on the sunny deck area overlooking the lovely green valley. Take a dip in the swimming pool. Please note Kids may only swim under adult supervision. There are daily cleaning services provided.

Sodwana Bay National Park is a narrow strip of forested sand dunes located along the KwaZulu-Natal coast, frequented by anglers and divers. Villa Villion is a lovely self-catering villa located just 3 km from one of the best dive sites in the world. This gem of a villa is in the rural French-style, designed and decorated by the owners with a sophisticated yet relaxed atmosphere.

The villa can comfortable accommodate up to six guests and comprises two bedrooms, two bathrooms, a mezzanine level, and an open-plan kitchen and living area. The first bedroom contains a double bed and the second bedroom contains twin single beds. Each bedroom contains an en-suite bathroom. The mezzanine level features two single beds, and opens onto an upstairs deck with commanding views of the surrounds.

The open-plan kitchen is well equipped, featuring a gas hob as well as plenty of ceramic surface to give freedom to your culinary dreams; enjoy your meal on the weathered Oregon pine table with its metal insignia inlays. The sitting room with its high ceilings and plenty of glass creates a peaceful ambience as circadian light plays change throughout the day.

Leading through large sliding doors, the living space spills onto the oversized veranda where the prevailing north east sea breeze, the lush garden and the distant roar of breakers is sure to lull you into that idyllic summer forever feeling.

Inkwazi Beach Camp is a self-catering rustic camp situated in Sodwana Bay three kilometres from the beach and at night you can hear the waves breaking.

Inkwazi has grown into a family orientated camp with nine wooden cabins as well as a self-catering house.

The self-catering house is en-suite and sleeps eight people. It has a fully equipped kitchen and a braai area.

There is a fully equipped communal kitchen with fridges and freezers. There are also braai facilities, a boma and a large lapa as well as a clean ablution block.

No pets are allowed. The camp sleeps a total of 35 people.

Reefteach staff have completed thousands of dives at Sodwana Bay and because we personally dive daily, we are in a position to show you the best Sodwana has to offer.

Reefteach offers luxurious upmarket accommodation. Our units consist of Reef House, Starfish Cottage and Coral Annexe. The units are secluded and situated in our beautiful gardens, which are 100 m off the main road and less than 3 km from the Parks Board gate. All the rooms are air-conditioned and have their own bathrooms. All the units are self-catering; there is a swimming pool and entertainment area with three braai areas available. We have a nightwatchman who ensures safety and security.

Dolphin Lodge is a private house which sleeps six people and is located within the boundaries of the Sodwana Bay Lodge Hotel Resort, on the North Coast of KwaZulu-Natal. Sodwana Bay is renowned for its scuba diving and bill fishing as the southernmost coral reefs in Africa occur here. The area enjoys splendid subtropical weather with warm water throughout the year.

Dolphin Lodge offers immaculate, spacious accommodation in a home at the coast. The property is located in a tranquil setting just 5 km from the beach. Pristine wildernesses, absolute relaxation and a personal family retreat are the order of the day at the lodge. There are three bedrooms, two bathrooms of which one is an en-suite bathroom, a lounge / dining room, with a large spacious deck area for braais and sun tanning. The house has its own air-conditioning and DSTV. There is a fully equipped open-plan kitchen with large fridge/freezer, bar fridge, microwave oven, toaster, pots and pans, dishes and utensils. The only things you need to bring with are all towels, food and drinks. We have a lovely view over the lake and forest.

Please note a minimum of two guests need to book in the low seasons and discounts apply when booking are for three to six guests in total, are made.

At their main camp they have self-contained en suite units, family rooms and backpacker rooms. There are braai areas, gas stoves, electric fridges, cupboards and utensils. Some rooms do have their own kitchens.

The eco-campsite offers camping facilities, rooms and a Zulu hut. This campsite does not offer electricity and makes use of solar and gas showers. This is a relaxed and informal site with shady indigenous trees and grass for a comfortable pitch. There is an open boma/fireplace and an enclosed lapa. Please bring all of your own camping equipment. Bed linen is supplied in the rooms.

The Lodge is easily accessible, just off the main Mbazwana/Sodwana road and 10 km from the main beach. Sea Escapes is perfectly located for guests who want to base themselves in the heart of this pristine area and further explore the region.

As the African sun sets, guests can enjoy sundowners beside the pool, exchange stories around the campfire to the sound of African drums and the sizzling meat on the braai. International and local eco-tourists will enjoy the distinct ecosystems and prolific animal, bird and plant life. We are within 100 km of various game reserves such as Phinda Game Reserve, Tembe Elephant Park, Hluhluwe/Umfolozi Game Reserve, Ndumu Game Reserve, and Mkuze Game Reserve. Sodwana is located in a reserve, under the KwaZulu-Natal Parks Board, and the entrance to the beach lies within the Reserve.

Each beach house features two spacious bedrooms, and an extra tent can also be pitched if required. If peace and quiet is what you need to recharge, you will feel right at home here. Sit in the lounge and look out onto Mgobezeleni Lake, with the sea in the background. With a 270-degree view, you can enjoy lovely sundowners as well as sunrises.

Our staff is known to us for about 20 years now, and are friendly and reliable. Their service is included in the quoted price, and DStv can be arranged for an additional fee. Ice is sold on the premises and there is a space where guests are able to clean fish, diving equipment and boats.

Please note that for the Beach House the first four people will pay R190, each additional guest up to six, will pay half price. For the Flat, the first two people will pay R190 and the third person, will only pay half price. Hence we advise guests to request the appropriate tariffs.

The main road through Sodwana to the beach is tarred. We are 2 km off tar, which can be travelled with any type of vehicle but low profile sedans, not recommended.

At Nhlambanyathi Lodge we feel that it is important that guests experience the serenity and peace of Sodwana in the same way we experience it. Accommodation is offered in log cabins, with bedding provided. The communal kitchen is fully equipped with braai and freezing facilities, while the clean ablution blocks consist of showers, basins and toilets. We can offer catering by prior arrangement and for fishermen we can supply a boat pack to take with on the boat. Dinners are served in the camp.

If you enjoy scuba diving, we work with highly professional dive charters to ensure our clients get the best dives possible. Lake Sibaya is the largest freshwater lake in South Africa and there are 18 species of fish that have been recorded in the lake, five of which have marine origins. There are also a large number of crocodiles and hippos. Thembe Elephant Park has more than 200 indigenous elephants and day and night game drives and guided walks are available in the unspoilt Big 5 reserve.
