Lighthouse Restaurant

I often have meetings in Sodwana until late on Sunday evenings, it is quite a stretch to drive back home to Empangeni. My delight is the special Lighthouse Burgher and Chips, I recommend you try it.

I am currently making my own meal at 9:30pm after our group left the Lighthouse; after what can only be described as the worse customer interaction I have ever experienced from a manager. The short version... (As I'm really hungry now), we booked for 6:30 for 15 ppl and 18 attended which was handled fine. Drinks where slow to arrive which was understandable with such a large group. The problem came in with the food. Horendously slow. After an hour an a half 4 meals hadent arrived. After complaining that the last meal had arrived so late that the person didn't want it (the cheese wasn't even melted from cooking) for it the manager came out said we hadn't booked for the right number and it was basically our fault cause he hadn't catered for so many extra people. He shrugged off with no apology and went to his office. We were amazed and after finishing our drinks called for the bill. My chicken burger that never arrived was on the bill. I went and found the manager and told him to take it off. No apology. No concern. I certainly do NOT recommend you visit the Lighthouse at Sodwana. It's now 10 pm. Thanks to my amazing fiancee, I've had dinner, washed the dishes and are off to the fire for a relaxing time.
