Ruaha National Park Accommodation

Jongomero Camp is set under shady acacia trees on the banks of the seasonal Jongomero River in the remote south-western sector of Ruaha National Park. The only camp situated in this area of the park, you are ensured unmatched privacy. Eight tents overlook the dry Jongomero River bed.

The Great Ruaha River is the lifeline of the Park and Ruaha River Lodge offers the privilege of a private riverside 'banda' designed to blend seamlessly into the surroundings.

Ruaha Hilltop Lodge is just 15 km from the gate of Ruaha National Park which has some of Tanzania’s richest concentrations of animal, bird and plant life. The Lodge stands on the slopes of Ideremle Mountain and has breathtaking panoramic views.

Neema Crafts Centre has been open since 2003, followed by the guest house which opened in 2011. Neema is the first guest house in the world to be run by disabled people, aimed to uplift the community by providing training and jobs.

Cool healthy mountain air, evenings around a log fire, trout fishing, horse riding and stunning scenery are just a few of the reasons for visiting the Highland Fishing Lodge high up on the Rift Valley escarpment.

'Vuma' translated from Kiswahili means "a good rumour that is spread with the blowing wind". Now a reality rather than just a rumour, it is the ideal place to evoke the true spirit of Africa.

This is the only small, personalized camp in Mikumi and it is set on a rocky kopje on the Mkata flood plain. It presides over the Mwanamboga waterhole, the best game viewing area of the park.

The Retreat, located in Northern Selous, is a 12-suite exquisite hideaway that offers complete seclusion in the heart of remote bushlands.

Nestled around a secluded cove on the Sangilo peninsula, Sangilo Sanctuary Lodge provides an idyllic escape to the lake in northern Malawi.

Rufiji River Camp is situated in the Selous Game Reserve, which was declared a World Heritage Site in 1982. The Rufiji River is a sprawling waterway, with five distinctive lakes all joined together with a myriad of channels.

Selous Wilderness Camp is situated along the edges of the wide, meandering Rufiji River which is one of the largest water systems in East Africa. With its associated wetlands, lakes and swamps, it is one of the most outstanding ecological systems in the whole of Eastern Africa.

We are a small, 15 room Lodge located on the banks of the mighty Rufiji River. We have been open since October 2008 and our aim is to provide the best service for a bush lodge in the Selous.

Deep in the wild south of the spectacular Tarangire National Park, Oliver’s Camp is the best kept secret for travellers seeking a real, intense bush experience. Famous for large elephant herds and Baobab trees, Tarangire also offers lion, cheetah and leopard. These animals compete with a wide range of mammals in the park. Enjoy the most prolific of birdlife.
