Eldoret Situated 16 km south from the town of Eldoret on the road to Kisumu, Eldoret International Airport services Kenya’s Western region. Purpose built with the aim of accelerated economic growth in the Western region; Eldoret International Airport is expected to promote the rich tourism potential of Western Kenya.
Three scheduled international cargo flights and several impromptu freighters are serviced every week. Services and facilities include banking, bars and restaurants, Internet access, post office, exporters, air charters and brokerage, taxi, car rentals, VIP lounges, prayer rooms and a children’s play area.
Eldoret International Airport is open Monday to Sunday 03:30 – 17:30 GMT. Operating hours can be extended on request.
