Rhodes is indeed a lovely quaint village and although some distance from any large towns, well worth visiting and supporting. If you enjoy the tranquillity and peace of vast stretches of open land and being surrounded by mountains, away from the hustle and bustle of city life, shopping malls and the accompanying noise this is the place to go. Even with children there is enough opportunity for long walks, bicycle rides and, best of all, snuggling up in front of a fireplace in the evening.
