Jozi puts on Africa’s first PHOTO & FILM EXPO this July. Slaapstad will have to wait! In association with PiX Magazine, the Photo & Film Expo 2009 will take place at the Coca-Cola Dome. This year will be the first time an event dedicated to Photography and Film takes place under one roof in SA.
Highlighting the excellence in Still Photography and Film Production in South Africa, Photo & Film Expo 2009 will showcase the latest hardware, software, technology, lighting, techniques, facilities and courses available in these fields.
Free workshops and training sessions will take place each day at the event. All visitors and exhibitors to this event will be able to participate in educating and gaining firsthand knowledge from experts in their fields, of all aspects of these dynamic industries.
Many amateur photographers who own state of the art equipment have limited knowledge of how to utilise the functionality of their cameras. Visitors will be able to glean valuable tips and product knowledge from demonstrations of hardware and software functionality, lighting and techniques as well as information about available courses, associations and photographic clubs.
