Pushkar

One of India’s most holy places, the enchanting Hindu pilgrimage town of Pushkar in Rajasthan has enormous appeal to religious travellers and tourists alike. Home to 400 blue temples, 52 bathing ghats and one of the world’s rare Brahma temples, Pushkar vibrates with the continual sound of singing, chanting, prayers, drums and gongs. During the annual Pushkar Camel Fair the town overflows with tribal Rajasthanis, film crews, pilgrims and visitors from across the globe.
