Polokwane - Ek was aangenaam verras met die vriendelike mense van Polokwane. Veral die petroljoggies by Ranch Star stop en die kelners by Maxi's by Ranch Star stop. Kos was heerlik. Skoon dorp, pragtige stadion. Ons het op 'n wildsplaas gebly en dit was wonderlik. Nog iets wat opvallend was is hoe al die mense daar hul bes probeer om jou in jou eie taal te bedien.

Nice City - There is lots of malls and fastfood outlets. Roads are clearly marked although some roads in the city needs to be repaired because of potholls.

Ivy Park Suburb of Polokwane (Pietersburg)

Ivy Park - Ivypark in Polokwane is one of the oldest suburbs in Polokwane (formerly known as Pietersburg). At first it was smallholdings but in the seventies it was developed into a suburb. I am a resident since 1986 and love living here. Many residents have been here for years. Lately people of all different nationalities live here. We look out for each other and are like one big family. If you go on holiday you just inform your neighbours and you can rest assured that they will be on the lookout for you. Because of that the crime rate is very low. Ivypark has a primary school and a small shopping centre. It is located about 1,5 km from the city square and Polokwane CBD and about 3 km from the Peter Mokaba Stadium, which was one of the official stadiums during the 2010 Soccer World Cup. It is the first suburb on the left hand side as you enter Polokwane. You will find beautiful indigenous trees in some gardens and the birdlife is something special. We have a lovely climate, with hot summers and the winters are not too cold. It is situated next to the N1. It is not a upper class suburb, I would rather say middleclass, but according to me a nice and pleasant place to stay.
