Patensie hot in January but good to see. - Very nice small town and the people are really friendly and very helpful. Just very hot in December January. Good services at Tolbos and Food Zone

Lovely - We were here for a documentary ( On the poet who wrote about Saartjie Baartman thus helping bringing her remains home) and really absolutely enjoyed our stay! We had the pleasure to stay at guesthouse Retadi, at Dankbaar farm, I highly recommend this accommodation! We loved the "small town feeling", the remoteness, the endless rows of citrustrees, the donkeys walking down the streets, the allover unspoiled feeling. Hankey is closeby and I highly recommend you stop at the "Lemon tree" for a friendly chat with the delightful hostess and a great breakfast or lunch and even a snack for your roadtrip! Do not forge to pay your respects at the burial place of Sarah Baartman and have a magnificent view from the top of the hill. Will certainly be back for a trip to the Baviaanskloof.
