Dome Adventure Festival (This event has passed)

The River Village Inn is a spacious double-story house overlooking the surrounding river, cliffs and bushveld. The inn lies in a holiday area about 15 km from Parys with its many arts and antique shops to peruse. We are in the Vredefort Dome Heritage area with loads of activities of its own.

The White Giraffe is situated in the quaint town of Parys and offers self-catering accommodation for up to six people in two double and one twin room. The guest house is located an hour from Johannesburg and within the Dome World Heritage Site.

A Mountain View Country Estate is situated on the Fochville rd S 26* 50. 190  E 027* 29. 426 Surrounded by picturesque mountain land, the result of a meteorite the size of Table Mountain collided with Earth some 2020 million years ago creating this wonder of nature,the Vredefort Dome.   This is fly fishing territory with the Mighty Vaal coursing through the 54ha establishment.

A Lovingly restored 1930's farmhouse just 100m from the river and a mere 3 blocks away from Parys' main shopping street. Set in a tranquil garden with a small cycad nursery.

Approximately 2000 million years ago, a meteorite of approximately 10 km in diameter collided with the Earth, causing the biggest and oldest impact site. Thabela Thabeng lies in the midst of this World Heritage Site, nestled in between the mountains and Vaal River only 100 km from Johannesburg.

Aloe Manor is situated in the little country town of Parys which lies on the southern banks of the Vaal River. It is approximately an hour’s drive from Johannesburg.
