Bigger and juicier than ever, the Bien Donné Agricultural Expo is back and it’s not just about farming! There is an exciting programme of numerous entertainment and educational activities that will appeal to everyone.
You can try your hand at learning to make your own boerewors, take a flip in a helicopter, acquire vino cred at wine, whisky and champagne tastings or get bunged up with knowledge at various workshops ranging from landscaping to technical viticulture. Of course there will be a fresh produce market with all sorts of tempting goodies and remember, the early bird catches the juiciest worm!
Previously named "Boeredag", this Expo has a rich culture and history in the Boland area. Presented by the Agricultural Reseach Council of South Africa (ARC) and its Infruitec-Nietvoorbij Institute, this annual expo is an important platform for all involved in the agricultural industry.
Now in its 67th year, the ARC Bien Donné Agricultural Expo continues to focus on farming and agricultural producers. The expo is open to all sectors of the agricultural industry. More than 200 companies exhibit their products and services each year, making the Bien Donné Expo one of the largest agricultural expo's in the Western Cape.
