North Luangwa Nat Park Accommodation

Mazingo Hotel is located just two minutes away from Mpika's Central Business District and overlooks the Muchinga escarpment.

Wonderfully remote and peaceful, the site is a relaxed 3-hour bushwalk from Kaingo. Set on the banks of the Mwamba River, a tributary of the Luangwa, the camp enjoys shady views of perennial water-holes.

Located 40 km upstream from the main Mfuwe Gate and on the banks of an oxbow lagoon which retains a small amount of water all year, the lodge looks out onto open grassland. By day the plain is frequented by grazing mammals and by night it becomes a hunting ground for lions.

**Season of operation 20May to 01Nov** Accommodation comprises of four twin bedded chalets and one honeymoon suite with a stunning out door bath on the banks of the river. All the rooms have en-suite facilities, are well ventilated, mosquito-proofed and silently lit by solar power.

Nsefu Camp can accommodate up to 12 guests in traditional rondavels with en-suite semi-open air bathrooms, while the view of the river is superb and includes a terraced area where game grazes during the day.

Mchenja Luxury Bush Camp occupies a stunning setting beneath a magnificent grove of beautiful trees on the banks of the Luangwa River. It is just a short morning's walk upstream from Kakuli Bush Camp and is located in an area teaming with wildlife.

Luwi Bush Camp is a seasonal bush camp that is open from 20 May to 31 October. It is nestled under huge mahogany trees on the banks of a permanent lagoon.

Nsolo Bush Camp is situated on a bend in the Luwi River that runs through the heart of Zambia's south Luangwa National Park, a three hours' walk from Luwi Bushcamp. We are open from 20 May - 31 October.

Kakuli is a seasonal bush camp on the confluence of the Luwi and Luangwa rivers. For many it marks the end of a walking safari from camp to camp following the course of the Luwi River. Whether Kakuli is used as a stopover in the middle of a walking trail or as a base for a more static safari.

Tena Tena Camp must be one of the best safari camps in the whole of Africa, as stated by The Times in London. This remote and small camp lies within the Nsefu sector of the Luangwa National Park and enjoys a stunning location on a wide bend of the Luangwa River.
