There’s a spring in our step and summer is truly on its way as we relish the thought of long hot days enjoying the special experiences that make Cape Town so unique.
For Capetonians and visitors the internationally renowned Kirstenbosch National Botanical Garden is the place to visit, not only for its beauty, but also for the hugely popular Old Mutual Summer Sunset Concerts that draw audiences from far and wide.
The 20th concert series kicks off on 20 November 2011 and runs until 1 April 2012 so get ready for a line up that reflects not only the long running success of this series, but the hottest acts in the industry. With a healthy mix of old and new the concerts attract capacity crowds from every age group and the music genres represent the best sounds on circuit.
Appearing at Kirstenbosch has become a major coup for young and exciting new acts so we welcome some new names into this hall of fame and hear their young, upbeat notes as they make their garden debut. Old favourites The Parlotones, Johnny Clegg, Prime Circle, Freshlyground, Goldfish and more thrill their audiences with their popular sounds.
