Otters Den welcomes you to our secluded self catering cottages under thatch, which are set in 18 acres of unspoiled countryside in the heart of the arts and crafts route of the Midlands Meander, near Nottingham Road in Kwazulu Natal. We have four freestanding newly built thatched cottages: Chelsea, The Great Western, Ikhwela and Copper, each with a private balcony overlooking the Lions River.

The farm is ideal for families to enjoy the outdoors together. The typical farmyard is a thrill for the children, with lambs and calves to feed, goats to stroke, ostriches to admire, eggs to gather and many more general farming activities to get involved in.

Barry and Maureen's is where strangers become friends. The property is set in the southern Drakensberg, in quiet and secure surroundings.

Little Fields Country House is a lovely self-catering ground floor unit that sleeps two in tranquil and scenic surroundings. The house is located on the Midlands Meander route and near to popular wedding venues.

Aladdin's Chameleon Cottages offer neat, affordable accommodation for the meanderer looking for a central spot. The cottages are located on the scenic Midlands Meander route in the village of Nottingham Road.
