This is a lovely self-catering house situated in Hentiesbaai, offering comfortable accommodation for a family. Hentiesbaai is ideal for fishermen and has a variety of attractions and activities for all ages.

The house consists of three bedrooms, two bathrooms of which the main is en-suite, a fully equipped kitchen and an open-plan living area with a built-in braai. The house has an alarm system linked to armed response, and the small courtyard is perfect for guests with pets. Parking is available in the double garage, which also has a washing machine.

Guests can enjoy a round of golf at the golf course or visit the Dead Sea, an old mine with a high concentrate of salt in the water. There are also many boat wrecks along the coast to visit. Those wanting to do some further exploring can go dune- and quad riding, as well as skydiving in Swakopmund.

The accommodation is suitable for four people and comprises one bedroom with two single beds, an open-plan kitchen and lounge with two single beds, and a bathroom with a shower that has hot water from a gas geyser. The bathroom is only accessible through the bedroom.

We provide linen, towels, cutlery, pots and pans, a fridge, stove, and a shared TV with local channels only. Features include a separate entrance and off-street parking, and guests are also welcome to make use of the garden and barbecue facilities.

We welcome stays of two or more days and we speak German, English and Afrikaans. No breakfast is served, as this accommodation is fully self-catering. All you have to do is come and visit us and have a relaxing holiday in our super town. Unfortunately no pets are allowed, as we have pets of our own.

The guest house is conveniently located a minute's walk from the famous Walvis Bay Lagoon, a slightly longer walk to well-established restaurants and bars, and a short drive to Sandwich Harbour and the Pelican Point Peninsula, allowing guests to enjoy the many activities offered locally.

The nearby Namib Naukluft Park, Damaraland and the rest of the Erongo Region is ideal for self-drive and 4x4 exploration with scenic places such as Welwitchia, Brandberg, Spitzkoppe, and Sossusvlei.

Nestled in a dune, Kuangukuangu makes it possible for its occupants to live in harmony with nature, at the same time offering them comfort, luxury, adventure and relaxation. The starry sky in southerly direction will thus be visible to the naked eye, unobstructed, from the rock around which Kuangukuangu is built. Kuangukuangu comes from 'Omukuangukuangu', a word used by the Ovambo people, meaning the milky way. The Meals: You can, if you desire, take your meals at the farm situated at five minutes walking distance from Kuangukuangu (you must check in advance that your hosts will be able to accommodate you).
