Otters Den welcomes you to our secluded self catering cottages under thatch, which are set in 18 acres of unspoiled countryside in the heart of the arts and crafts route of the Midlands Meander, near Nottingham Road in Kwazulu Natal. We have four freestanding newly built thatched cottages: Chelsea, The Great Western, Ikhwela and Copper, each with a private balcony overlooking the Lions River.

The farm is ideal for families to enjoy the outdoors together. The typical farmyard is a thrill for the children, with lambs and calves to feed, goats to stroke, ostriches to admire, eggs to gather and many more general farming activities to get involved in.

Aladdin's Chameleon Cottages offer neat, affordable accommodation for the meanderer looking for a central spot. The cottages are located on the scenic Midlands Meander route in the village of Nottingham Road.

Experience the rustic beauty of a new lodge in the heart of Kwa-Zulu Natal's thorn veld. The Moorings Lodge is situated on the shores of Wagendrift Dam and has panoramic views of the dam and adjoining hills. It consists of two fully furnished self-catering chalets which each sleep six.
