Monagera Cottage is situated in the Vumba - a small part of the long chain of mountains that define the eastern border of Zimbabwe. The location lies on the edge of Mutare which is the provincial capital of Manicaland.

Tucked away on the lower slopes of a tree-covered hills in the Eastern district of Zimbabwe lies a delightful little leisure resort known by the name of Musangano Lodge, which means ‘the place where people meet.’

This is Mapungubwe’s main camp which is located in the eastern section of the park, in the spectacular sandstone hills.

This camp is situated in the Limpopo riverine forest, which offers excellent birding and it is located in the western section of the park. The camp is close to the Maloutswa Pan hide.

The Mazhou Camping Site in Mapungubwe National Park is situated close to the Limpopo Forest Tented Camp, in the western section of the park. It caters for 10 caravans or tents. Each campsite is equipped with a power point.
