Combining their considerable European experience with fresh local ingredients, they’ve created a wonderfully down-to-earth gastronomic oasis, with regular wine pairing dinners that introduce guests to Cape wine makers and wine. The well stocked wine cellar is fabulous for private parties of up to 12 where guests can indulge in a mouth watering fondue or mellow, nutty raclette.
Signature dishes are a fusion of Mediterranean and Austrian flavours reflecting Oliver's roots. Everything is imbued with love and attention to detail from the stocks and sensuous sauces to the homemade pastas, sumptuous grilled rack of lamb, tender palm fillet of ostrich and to-die-for apple strudel or Bavarian vanilla crème laced with peach liqueur. The extensive winelist features a good selection of serious vintage red wines as well as some dessert wines.
