Grab your basket and join a bustling, festive country market.
Visitors come from far and wide to stock up at Montagu’s Saturday morning market. Here you can taste and buy freshly baked bread, amazing local cheeses, pates and wholesome quiches, homemade chutneys, relishes and chilli sauces, organic eggs, butter, olive oil, flowers and newly picked vegetables.
Enjoy brunch or purchase deli food and treats for a picnic or a lazy alfresco meal. Finish it off with good coffee and a few koeksusters, paneforte or strawberries and cream.
The market also offers an array of locally produced unusual handcrafted clothing, Alpaca designer knits and felting, jewellery, hand-painted tablecloths, funky handbags, wire beading, crafts and stunning furniture and products made from wine barrels.
