Grab the family and go manic at this fun-for-everyone weekend in scenic Montagu. Yes it’s that time of year again and if you haven’t been before then make sure you don’t miss out on all the action this year! The Montagu Mountain Mania Outdoor Adventure festival is now in its 9th year and it promises to be better than ever.

* First Ascent M3 Montagu Mountain Mania MTB Classic (40km or 80km)
* Asics X-treme trail runs (10 or 17km)
* Montagu Rock Rally rock climbing competition (difficulty ZA grades 8-31)
And also something for the kids:
* Kids Duathlon (Run & Bike) for under 13yrs
* 4km FunRun for all AGES
Also on offer is family fun entertainment at the Avalon Springs Hotel Race HQ with great music till the early hours, delicious food and, of course, the Avalon Hot Springs to soak those aching muscles and keep the kids happy!

More about the M3 Montagu Mountain Mania MTB Classic …
Exciting brand new routes are on the cards for the M3 MTB Classic. The Krakadouw valley gets a rest this year and the challenge tackles some of the other valleys around Montagu.
80km Marathon: a challenging trail for fit riders will include jeep track, single track and some nasty climbing but remember what goes up must come down! Some of the 2007 Epic route will be included.
40km Half Marathon: this event makes for fast cycling and will include jeep track, fast gravel roads and awesome scenery. The terrain makes it possible for the less fit cyclist to enjoy finishing a 40km trail but still give the fitter cyclists a challenge. There’s never a boring moment with M3!
