Mlilwane Wildlife Sanctuary is a must see, it's an ideal place for resting from busy urban life. The beehives contribute greatly and with its wildlife, the santuary make one wonder how human being could live peacefully with animals.

A marvellous experience for both our Italian friends and ourselves Never ever done anything like this before, a real african experience>. We thought it was excellent value for accommodation as well as first class treatment, the food was very good as well as the tribal dancing. A big thumbs up, the service that we receive with my family was an experience of our life time. The sanctuary on wild life one of the world class. My kids never stop talking about Mlilwane funny they had. Staff hospitality was excellent and they were very friendly. Cost also very reasonable is staying anf drive games.

The beehive hut accommodation was quaint, classy and very enjoyable for the reasonable rates. Entertainment options are relatively exhaustive and the food at the restaurant was reasonable but not very imaginative. The real disappointment was the park, which is littered with invasive aliens and rather sad, overly domesticated animals that are far from wild. More attention to the park would make the trip a repeatable one, but the great beehive huts are not sufficient in and of themselves to get me back.

a very serene place with very friendly stafff members. I enjoyed the horse riding, seeing it was my first time on a horse, the tour guide was very patient and he is well clued up on his job. The units are kept very neat and clean. i ahve no complains what so ever, I wish i had more time to spend there, I will definitely visit Mlilwane Wildlife Sanctuary

Mlilwane was a nature resort unlike I had ever experienced! I am from Johannesburg and randomly chose the most tranquil "looking" location on the internet. With birds that wake u at 5am, warthogs who greet u as you open the door or herds of wildebees which ush you in or out of the reserve - it was a phenominal experience! My 6 year old son saw animals up close and unlike his peers - who have only seen pictures or seen the same animals in the zoo - his stories, pics and experiences certainly do stand out! Experiencing the local festivities through singing and dancing at night were spectacular!!! What made Mlilwane "real" as a tourist destination was the privilege to drive through local residency. It gave me a real "taste" of how "normal" people live in Swaziland. One evening I stopped on my way in to the game park - at a local super market. Everybody was so humble, so curteous, so genuine, so sincere in their hospitality!!!! The market was a dream to shop at. The view and scenery breathtaking!!! I reccomend it to EVERYONE I meet!!!

Mlilwane Wildlife Sanctuary, well situated at the end of the Ezulwini Valley, is ideal for the guest who wishes to explore the country as well as keep active with a variety of activities like horse riding, mountain biking or a leisurely walk among game such as impala, zebra, nyala and warthog. Most guests take great delight in the animals that wander through the camp during the day with many photo opportunities! The accommodation is simple but comfortable and one can choose between authentic grass beehive huts and wooden Rest Camp huts, both with en-suite bathrooms. There are also a few self-catering units. The camping area is peaceful and large and shaded by huge eucalyptus trees. The camp restaurant serves delicious meals and the view from the restaurant deck over the dam with the hippos coming in in the afternoon to get their “treat” of a bale of hay is an amazing sight! One of the main attractions is the peace and tranquility in the camp; a place to rest and refresh!

I would keep returning to Mlilwane over and over again. The game viewing opportunities are endless. The campsite is charming, with nyala and warthog joining your evening braai. It is also possible and worthwhile to do Swazi Village tours. Every night you can watch the hippos being fed down by the restaurant.
