Owner André Cilliers sells handcrafted goat and cow’s milk cheeses, home-brewed beer, venison salami and freshly baked bread under the shade of enormous pepper trees.Here you can grab picnic baskets filled with your choice of foods to be enjoyed at your own leisure somewhere in the picturesque village. The deli stocks goat and cow’s milk cheeses, venison salami, preserves and other deli products. Try Andre's hand roasted coffees too!In this idyllic setting André serves cheese lunches that comprise a range of cheeses, salamis, breads, salads and preserves. In winter wholesome stews, curries and soups are on offer in addition to the cheese lunches. Vegetarian meals are also provided.Saanen goats are milked twice a day to produce organic chèvre and foudjou, feta, caprino, Gouda and cheddar. The goats are milked at 8am and 4.30 pm daily and guests are welcome to visit during milking - children are most welcome!Need to know? The Two Goats Deli is fully licensed and stocks a selection of wines, beer and other beverages. Open daily from 10am with booking for lunches preferred but not essential. Open in the evening as a pub only. Getting there is easy - from the Owl House cross over the dry Gats River following the road as it winds past the Old Mill till you see their sign.

Sea Cow River Restaurant at New Holme Guest farm. We have built our guest farm and our reputation on our 3 course Boere Kos dinners. Our public demand we are now offering meals to the public. We do romantic dinners for two on the “Star Deck”, veldt braais in the koppies , sundowners at the hippo pool , big 3 course dinners , lights lunches, campaign breakfasts small functions and weddings. Our underground, 400 bottle wine cellar are stocked with a good variety of South African wines. Tables are set under the big old popular trees in very lush gardens ore around the pool area. Garden birds give the background music wile eland, sheep and horses entertain the visitors. We are Blue Crane custodians and they are present in numbers, you can hear and see them early in the morning. We use this elegant and graces bird as our emblem. We serve Karoo farm dishes. Karoo Lamb, springbuck, and beef are used in many different ways to create unique meals. Homemade dreads and homemade jam’s vegetables out of our garden. Herbs grow in our rose garden all fresh and good. Owners P.C. and Marisca Ferreira are your chef, waiter and entertainment. Guest often have coffee in our kitchen, and might help preparing springbuck, lamb or warthog.

The Horse and Mill an accommodation venue in central Colesberg houses an old country style English Pub restaurant. Adorned with Harley Davidson memorabilia, this laid back eatery offers classic Karoo dishes that focus on the best Karoo lamb of the vicinity.

Ketelfontein Tea Garden is ideall located in Church Street. The restaurant serves light meals in a lovely nursery setting.

The Plattelander is certally loacted in Church Street. It comes hight recommended for its delicious Karoo lamb dishes and traditional fare such as pumkin fritters.
