Idealer Platz für Ausfahrten in den nahen Krügerpark. Die nötigsten Lebensmittel werden in kleinen Shops angeboten. Benzin, Diesel und Geldtankstelle ist auch da.

We’ve been to Marloth Park several times cause its a beautiful place to stay! But the last time we booked with wildlifeclub.co.za for 3 days and the house we got was horrible, dark and dirty. We left the next morning on13.03.2013. We paid by credit card and until now, we wait to get the money back or at least an answer to our emails. Our first bad experience in 10 years of travelling in South Africa!

We stayed here in Jan 2012. It was an experience l will keep with me all my life. We had zebra in the garden, we drove through Marloth and parked near the Crocodile River – the whole place is magical. We travelled to Kruger and saw and heard nature at its most beautiful. If you are ever able to go, do it, you will not be disappointed.

My husband and I visited Marloth Park on our first week of honeymoon, and it was perfect. Wildlife roamed freely and there was the sound of lions and jackals late at night. The people are friendly and the shops cater for all your specific needs. Also, some of the lodges have restaurants that offer great food and company that you will not find in your everyday restaurant. The Park offers everything for couples and family breakaways. We loved the surrounding area and will be sure to visit again.

Marloth Park is just incredible; the sounds of the bush follow you constantly. The whole Conservancy is friendly and helpful just what you need to relax and enjoy a peaceful stay.

Marloth Park is surprisingly big and really beautiful. Roaming animals are great and very friendly. The bush shop is well equipped and you really don't need to take any food there, as everything is available. The bottle store was very expensive, so take your own alcohol. It is very close to Crocodile Bridge Gate and makes daytrips to KNP very easy. Nice restaurant and public pool in the park as well. Will definitely go back there again.

Marloth park is a beautiful conservancy. Quite and peacefull surroundings. Friendly people at the bush centre and the petrol station. Animals run free and are fun to see - especially if you have little kids. Its not far from crocodile bridge gate and malelane gate. Lionspruit reserve is within the park where Lions and cheetahs can be seen, unfortunately we did not get a chance to go there. Simply a wonderful atmosphere...

If you love animals this is the place to be. We saw Zebra, Wilde Beest and (my absolute favorite) the Giraffe and at close range. It's a beautiful place,I want to go back for a longer stay though.

We thought it was wonderful! We saw a lot of wildlife and found it very relaxing with everything we needed at the Bush Centre. They do need to stock up more often though as they did tend to be out of stock of certain things. Also opposite the shopping area, where all the workers wait, there seems to be a lot of litter and rubbish. Other than that, we thought it was lovely.

There is NO security at the gates. I arrived for my third time in marloth park (2010,2011,2012) and the gate access is in NO condision to be called security. If this problem is not sorted out, the crime rate will be in the future a second gauteng. If the security problem is sorted, my rating will a 4.

Marloth Park is an awesome, quaint place that is very little known and should market itself more. The Tennis Courts and swiming pool could do with an upgrade, but we still enjoyed the use of these facilities.

Well we had our family from Italy and we are from Durban we decided to have Christmas at Marloth. My wife and I are consultants to the Tourim Industry so we also looked at the potential of this Conservancy and must say we where delighted with the area although we do feel the small shop was unable to cope with demand for most items due to the volumes. The shopping area needs a nice "facelift" parking is chaotic, the Lion Spruit area should be marketed more agrressively of course depending on what animals are inside the area. On the whole the area needs professional marketing and alot more developemnt and upliftment to make it more tourist friendly.

It was great in terms of visiting the Kruger Park. We also had a river drive and saw herds of elephants which was fantastic. Being ladies we only cooked once and then spent the rest of our evenings at Jabula Lodge where the hospitality was fantastic and great food. My one problem with Marloth was that the bush was so overgrown that we saw very little game during the day only at night on the main road.

In my view the number of lodges, private homes should be guarded. I could see more buildings being constructed whe I thought its almost full capacity. Its a nice whose naturality should be guarded vehemently. To me to see a housing estate agent at the park meant danger to nature. I may not be surprised 10 years from now, those anoimals would be gone.

Marloth Park is very nice for a realxing moment in the Bushveld. National Krugerpark is not that far from Marloth Park (Crocodile Bridge Gate).Marloth Park provides nice benches and spots on the Crocodile River where one can easily sit for a few hours watching the animals come to quench their thirst. One can walk in the Park and also do a lot of mountain biking.Really great alternative at very reasonable prices if the National Krugerpark in the South would be fully booked.

Marloth Park is amazing. Animals roam freely. There is no fences among the houses, which gives the animals easy access to come and say "hello". It is wonderful to wake up with the call of the Hippos and Fish Eagle and the roar of the Lions at night. The Bush babies is a big plus too. Marloth is very close to the Crocodile Bridge. They have there own little "Village" where you can almost find everything you need. I will definitely go back and would give anything to have my own little place in Marloth Park. Two thumbs up!

The park is well looked after however the shops are extremely expensive and forces one to do shopping in the nearby Komatipoort. The security is also jacked as we accidently activated the alarm and the response was quick and professional. There is however a large number of vagrants in and around the shops. This makes one feel exposed. Other than that I shall galdly return.

I loved the stay through out... I enjoyed every moment I spent there... But I personal think Marloth Park shop keepers or workers could use a little training the services is not up to scratch, if one needed a reason to bring Marloth Park down, they will gladly provide that reason, especially the Supermarket. but other than that I give it 5 stars.

Marloth Park proves to be a home away from the buzzing city life. You get to understand the meaning of peacefulness and quietness. Enjoy the sound of wild animals at the secure comfortable accommodation. If you decide not to go into Kruger National Park and just hang around the park you will still get the feeling of satisfaction being in close proximity with nature. I would recommend it to anyone who would like to rejuvenate their energy.

Recently stayed at Beauty of Nature, and not long afterwards at Peaceful Hide (within 6 months of each other). A wonderful safe, quite environment. Easy access to lower Kruger National Park. In general, the accomodation is wonderful. Wildlife Iwildebeest, giraffe, zebra, warthog, different species of buck), wander freely on the conservancy - making the experience more exciting. Lionspruit, offers the viewing of lions. The conservancy is neat, and the facilities (restaurant, shops, etc) allows one to relax without leaving Marloth Park. Stephen Jugmohan

We stayed in Marloth Park in July 2012. It was beautiful and peaceful. I would lie in bed at night listening to the lions roaring and hyenas 'whooping' -it was magical. Early mornings were characterised by stunning sunrises and giraffe, impala, warthog and duiker walking past our house or drinking from the waterhole right in front of our house. We even saw a baby giraffe that still had his umbilical cord attached - so he was very new born. Our house was beautiful and comfortable too.

We stayed in Marloth Park not to long ago and what a pleasure. We had beautiful peaceful mornings with a few giraffe and other animals using the little water hole we had out in front. We felt very safe in the area and found our way around easily. Very affordable at the same time too.

Marloth Park is undoubtedly one of the most unique places in SA, I have been coming there for the past ten years , almost annually, and still consider it to be the best of both worlds, with plains game running around the park and the mighty Kruger just across the Crocodile river . Always a relaxing time to be had and excitement around the corner, a real home away from home.

Even though there were 4 adults and 4 children under the age of 13, we had a tranquil time. Marloth Park Conservancy is a stunning place for children to really get to see nature in all her glory. The kids had a chance to feed the zebra, get really close to giraffe, watch the bushbabies come out in the evening and even see two hyenas very near the braai fire. It was stunning. Clean, safe, quiet and everything you hope for in a bush holiday.

We visited Marloth Park from 17 - 20 August 2012 and stayed in Doringbos. What an experience!!! First time ever visit but definitely not the last! Being able to watch wildlife on your doorstep and the fence of the Kruger just 5 minutes walking distance was incredible. The continuous calling of the Fish Eagle I missed on my first morning at home, not even talking about the roaring of the lions and the sounds of jackal and hiena at night. We also had a frog visiting in the small waterhole at our place. The Zebra's almost came inside for tea. I never felt so relaxed at any other place. You do not need to drive anywhere because everything is right on your doorstep except if you want to visit the Kruger for the Big 5, but that is also just a few kilometres away!! We had a great time.

We really enjoyed our stay at Marloth Park Conservancy. The setting and accommodation was wonderful, with nature literally on your doorstep. Definitely recommended to those who would like to get away from the demands of city life. What makes it even more special it that it's very near to the Kruger Park, which is also why we chose to spend some time there as the costs are more affordable to travellers on a bit of a budget.

The lodge is more than adequately equipped and well situated. Easy to find and well maintained. You can hear the silence at night- magnificent.Only the sound of nature. We even heard lions roar!!! We will definitely be back. The 'shopping center' is fantastic compared to what we heard, and the Watergat was such a lovely and friendly place to visit for refreshments. You can find everything you need, no need to take all stuff along. A butchery and liquor store + supermarket etc. GREAT! Highly recommended conservancy to visit. Bonding with animals was fantastic. Main advantage compared to Kruger is that you may walk anywhere and no dangerous animals to be constantly aware of. a MUST visit for Kruger lovers.

Marloth Park is a little piece of heaven where one can go and totally unwind. You are surrounded by bush and nature, as you chill out and relax in a splash pool or just sitting watching animals walking by, or listening to the chatter of birds in the trees. At night as the sun goes down enjoy a typical braai and gaze at the stars in the perfect african sky, and enjoy the night sounds of nature and the roar of the lions in the kruger park. Nothing will rejuvenate you more than a stay at Marloth Park where you can totally unwind and relax

Marloth Park Conservancy itself is a peasurable experience. The peace and solitude is something to behold and being able to be so close to nature is awe inspiring. This is the only the place where I can 'disconnect" from the everyday stress and rush of our modern life, where you can breath the fresh air, enjoy the silence at dawn, light a camp fire, listen to the animal sounds if lucky the lions or hippos and most of all watch the most awesome milkyway and stars if they are so close that you can touch them. I thought Merlot Park was great, the only problem I had was the condition of the main road, but I have heard they have tarred the road, plus I see they have opened up the road near to Croc Bridge which will make a big difference driving in the dark and not having to worry about all the trucks. I have stayed there twice and the accommodation had all you needed, even better than what you get in Kruger Park.

Marloth park conservancy is a beautifull area within SA. I love to go there for the following reasons: 1) You are in the bush. 2) You can literally sit on the stoep and see Zebra, Kudu, Impala, etc walk by you. 3) During the evening you can hear all the animal sounds around you, the lion's roar a call of a hyena. 4) The hides are magnificent to go to and sit looking out over the Kruger.

The sounds of the wild at your doorstep every step you take with the awesome wonder of God creating the most wonderful nature and peace for us all to enjoy. Drive, or walk to the river to view the big 5, or simply have a sun downer next to the crocodile river drinking in the peaceful setting only to be found at Marloth Conservatory – an unique experience not to be missed. Close by is a real bush feeling shopping centre for those needed items that have been forgotten, a garage, restaurant, deli, bottle store, laundry, hardware and bakery. For the special occasion, a breakfast, lunch or dinner can be enjoyed at one of the lodges in Marloth Park. Komatipoort is only 20 km away for those that want to just see a bit of civilisation and the Crocodile gate to the Kruger Park is a mere 23 kilometres from Marloth park. If you still need more adventure, wildlife safaris are available by 4x4 guided tours, quad bike drives, Swaziland nearby and the Maputo border post just 30 km from Marloth Park. There sure is enough for every one and anyone to suit every taste and adventure. I've heard so much about Marloth - ALL the animals and the good state the park is in. When at last I visited the park I must admit - All is not totally well at the park. Sporadic clean water problems, not that many animals and specifically the amount of species INSIDE the park. Safety and security is definitely a concern for the residents - at the main gates it is very poor! The Crocodile river, flowing between the Kruger and Marloth make for a larger possible selection of game viewing, which make the early morning and afternoon drives worthwhile. The conditions of the gravel roads can definitely be upgrade - it is in some places in a really poor state. What about information pamphlets on what types of animals, plants, birds and other small fauna can be expected? When asking a lady at the municipal offices of some information, she just smiled and said: "Nothing available." At the two shopping centres I couldn't find anything either. I only had a map without a scale on it and that's it.

The two events we booked for at Marloth park, a game night drive and bush breakfast fell through, as the service providers did not follow through on the booking - we had to make alternative arrangements ourselves. Lionspruit is advertised as hosting 4 of the Big Five animals, excluding the elephant, but upon enquiry, it proved that it was not the case and that there were no rhino or leopard as well. Needless to say, we didn't support the Lionspruit area and made use of the facilties the Kruger Park offered.

The personnel at the Field Service office where one collect the keys, should be more friendly, or not work if they don't feel good. The Shop is extremely expensive, and its better to bring in your own items. The disposable site is a "bad place"; gates are open all the time, animals walk in and eat the plastic and the rubble blows around the conservancy! Not a good impression at all. The Lionspruit area, should give info about very poor roads for people without 4x4 vehicles. I had bad experiences on road and was forced to drive through the no entry signs to get out again. The road was too bad for my vehicle to continue. There are no water holes in the park with bird hides? Question: When last did you do proper block burns, as the field looks very old, and no trace of land management.

I think Marloth Park is THE BEST. You have the best of Both worlds. You have the non-dangerous animals that roam freely amongst the houses and the Kruger Park on your doorstep. There are many times that I have seen more animals in Marloth Park than in the Kruger Park. From Marloth Park I can see all of the Big 5 in the Crocodile River which divides Marloth from the Kruger Park. Stay in Marloth Park and visit the Kruger Park as a day visitor, much cheaper and see more animals that come and visit YOU. Hope to see you soon.

Marloth Park is a wildlife sanctuary situated on the southern boundry of the Kruger National Park. (Approximately R390 kilometers from Pretoria). Marloth has its own wildlife and boasts four of the big five with the exception of elephant, however as the crocodile river forms the boundary between Marloth Park and the Kruger National Park you are likely to spot elephants playing in the river. With the dangerous game restricted you can take a walk along the river or a mountain bike ride on many a dirt roads and is a birders paradise. Situated between Malelane and Komatipoort two entrance gates can be used to the Kruger National Park. Crocodile bridge gate 14 Kilometers and Malelane gate 35 Kilometers. Situated between Komatipoort and Hectorspruit, bordering the Crocodile River, which forms the most southern border between Marloth and Kruger, makes this place a world-class holiday destination. Here wild animals still roam free and game viewing can be done from your veranda. Daily visits from zebra, kudu, impala, giraffe, blue wildebeest, bush babies, warthogs, just to mention a few, are common. There is a wide selection of accommodation available in the estate ranging from fully catered 5 Star lodges, backpackers, luxury self-catering lodges, private holiday homes, tented camps as well as a caravan park down by the river. Many of these are situated on the banks of the Crocodile River with the opportunity to view the Big 5 from your private balcony. A private nature reserve, Lionspruit are situated inside Marloth Park. Here you can self drive with the opportunity to see lions and buffaloes. At Frikkie's Dam, a picnic spot, you can even enjoy a bbq if you want to. Keep in mind, NO fences. A lovely bird hide is situated next to Frikkie's Dam. Though you are in the bush, the convenience of a shop, bottle store, hardware store, coffee shop, trading post, are close by. Three restaurants are available, The Watergat, Phumula and Jabula, known for there delicious eisbeins and chicken liver peri peri! From Marloth Park you can visit Kruger National Park, only 15 km away, the beautiful beaches of Mozambique only 100 km away, the Panorama Route, 150 km away and Swaziland about 70 km away. I will definitely recommend Marloth Park to all fellow travelers and nature lovers!

Marloth Park is great but they need to improve on the dirt road approaching Marloth, it seems to have deteriorated from last year.

There are a lot of zebras and giraffes! It is easier to get close to them than in the Kruger.

Marloth Park is an amazing place to go to. We saw quite a few wild animals around the main road- zebras, giraffes, etc. It is well maintained and preserved. It is the ideal destination if you want to experience true nature. We were however disappointed in the Lionspruit Private Reserve. Although the entrance fee is not much (R60 per car) after 2 hours driving we only saw 2 giraffes, nothing else, never mind lions. We saw more wild animals in Marloth Park outside Lionspruit then in Lionspruit itself. Personaly I think it is absolute waste of time. If you have visitors from overseas you can take them to Marloth Park for an unforgetable holiday. I would recommend to everyone.

This is a wonderful, safe environment, and the people are friendly. There is easy access to the lower Kruger Park. It is a wonderful environment to relax, and watch the animals walk freely around the cottages. My kids enjoyed the wildebeest, giraffe and different buck.

Easy access to Kruger National Park. Feel of being in the 'bush'. Large number of Springbok and other such animals roaming free in the park.

Marloth Park is close to both Malelane and Crocodile Bridge Gates to Kruger, and has some great accommodation options. The free-roaming game in Marloth Park really gives it a true African Bush feeling. Its a great destination for anyone wishing to experience a getaway in the bush.

Marloth Park is a lovely place to stay. We had accommodation at Manzini Swazi King Chalets. Drove around to get a sense of the area and came across a lot of game without having to go into the park. The viewing point over the Crocodile River is great.

The area is convenient when wanting to travel to the Kruger National Park. There are many rewarding animal encounters and sightings without even trying to search for them.

I can highly recommend the area as a holiday destination. The game wander around right in front of the accommodation. The proximity to the Crocodile River and the Kruger, makes for an unforgettable game-viewing holiday. The place itself is friendly and has everything you need. We really enjoyed the pool at the campsite.

This was our third time staying in Marloth Park and like the previous two times, we really enjoyed our stay. We saw lots of zebra, warthog, buck, giraffe and blou wildebeest in the park. On the Kruger National's side of the fence we saw lots of elephant, hippo, giraffe, rhino and buck. We will be back sooner than you think.
