Mara Farm is a working farm on the outskirts of Fouriesburg, close to the Lesotho border and deep in the heart of the Eastern Free State highlands of South Africa. This beautiful homestead is in the process of being converted into comfortable, homely and affordable accommodation and events venue.

The Arpa Farmhouse has four bedrooms and two bathrooms with one bath and two showers; the warm water is supplied by a donkey boiler. There is no electricity and the lights inside are generated from heavy duty batteries.

Avondzon is a self catering holiday estate of 266 ha in the eastern Free State of South Africa. It is situated halfway between Bethlehem and Fouriesburg, almost 6 km from the village of Slabberts, which is situated at the R26 road, at a distance of about 300 km south of Johannesburg.
