Our home is a quiet tribute to old fashioned country cottage solitude & peace. Nestling amongst trees at the foot of magnificent sandstone mountains with a variety of garden birds which make living in the cottage a truly special experience.

We have four chalets which are identical in size and layout however each one has been uniquely decorated and furnished to create its own atmosphere and feel. We have 7th Heaven Chalet, Linga Longa Chalet, Lucky No. 8 Chalet and Thaba Lehae Chalet.

Hilltops is a free-standing house located on a north-facing slope overlooking the village of Clarens, with breathtaking views towards Mount Horeb and the Maluti Mountains.

This luxury villa is superbly appointed and is fully equipped to meet all your holiday requirements.   The three level home has 2 en suite bedrooms.

Barrister House offers exceptionally well-appointed self-catering accommodation in the Clarens Golf and Trout Estate. The accommodation includes a main house sleeping six and a flat sleeping four.

Clarens Retreat is owned and run by Marcel and Karen, who moved to South Africa from the south coast of England in 2010. The property offers three comfortably furnished units which are serviced daily, enabling guests to make the most their time in Clarens.

The Postman's Loft is situated in the heart of Clarens Village. This cosy, one-bedroom apartment overlooks the Post House Restaurant and has a spacious balcony where you can relax and enjoy the peaceful atmosphere.

Originally set up as a base for early police officials to control the cannibal tribe that lived in the area at the time, this building is still standing with its original material and has all its original attributes.
