Nested beneath the shades of centuries old Wild Fig trees in an old farmhouse, this intimate country restaurant sweeps the palate with delicious Afro-fusion cuisine complimented by expansive views and crackling fireplaces.

Offering the best of local and European tastes, the award winning Woodowl restaurant serves amongst the most popular dishes, sweet potato and avocado soup, seared beef fillet crusted with African spices and butternut chips and mango ice-cream enrobed in a chocolate & chilli sauce.

The Nguni beef fillet is sublime, served with mash with burnt sage and a spicy monkey nut sauce with hot buttery sweet potatoes. Soups change daily accompanied by fabulous Venda pot bread. The desserts highlight, a lemon and mango sorbet in a brandy-snap basket.

Sample sumptuous cuisine at this award winning restaurant warmed by local décor and culturally inspired table wear for a table d’hôte experience like no other.
