Description
Head into the beautiful hills of the eastern Free State for a breath of fresh air and a bit of a party this May. Ladybrand is a quaint, bustling little town characterised by wide streets and charming old sandstone houses. Situated at the foot of the majestic Maluti Mountains, it serves as a busy trade and business centre linking South Africa and the capital city of Lesotho, Maseru. If you don't own a trusty steed then owning wheels is essential in this part of the world and the town holds their annual ‘Veteraan Motor Skou’ to celebrate the invention of the motor vehicle. Along with the vintage car show is a display of modern vehicles from dealers, various stalls, touch rugby for teams of five, a spitbraai and entertainment from Nicholis Louw.
