Situated in the beautiful leafy suburb of Kloof, Calmswood Guest House is convenient for the person on business as the easy access to the M13 means that Pinetown is only 10 minutes away, and Durban 25 minutes. For the visitor the Guest House makes a convenient base from which to explore the Valley of a 1000 Hills, or further to the Midlands Meander or Durban and the beaches.

The palace, reflecting on various parts of history, is the vision of Durban artist Peter Amm, who has used his entire collection of Zulu art and crafts to incorporate them into more than 40 beaded columns of exquisite beauty.

Kloof Gorge Backpackers is a newly established venue, ideal for the budget-conscious traveller who enjoys being close to nature. The guest house borders on Krantzkloof Nature Reserve, with 20 km of nature trails and five waterfalls with the closest only 450 metres from us.

Far Place adjoins the Krantzkloof Nature Reserve with stunning views of rock face and gorge. Two apartments are available.

Madadeni Guest House is situated in the lush surrounds of the Kloof Gorge, just 20 minuets drive outside of Durban and the Indian Ocean. The house consists of five rooms, four double and one twin bed that can be used in conjunction with our large en-suite room to form a family unit, sleeping four to five guest with its own entrance.

Set in a lush and peaceful garden, Morgenzon Bed and Breakfast is centrally located close to business areas, shopping centres and restaurants. It is also midway on the route of some of the top South African sport events, namely the Comrades Marathon, Duzi Canoe Marathon and the UmaShova.

Bizafrika Guest Lodge and Conference Centre is situated in the Valley of a Thousand Hills, only twenty five minutes’ drive from Durban beachfront, the airport and various shopping centres. This quiet and peaceful location is ideal for family holidays or for the business traveller.

Collingwoods Guest House is a beautiful Old World homestead that is situated in the heart of Kloof. All bedrooms are en-suite with tea and coffee-making facilities in the room. A delicious full English breakfast is served in a warm and friendly home away from home atmosphere.

Mortonson Manor is a grand and secluded villa situated on Fields Hill high above Durban, away from the humidity, offering distant ocean and city views which can be enjoyed from private balconies and gardens.
