Khao Lak

Khao Lak, also known as Hat Khao Lak, is less commercial than Phuket’s larger beach resort towns but still has ample conveniences and shopping facilities. Gentle warm waves and long beaches backed by lush forest make this an attractive base for exploring the northern Andaman Islands. Day trips venture to the national parks of Khao Sok and Khao Lak-Lam Ru and islands of Similan and Surin.
