Yummy - We were there for only one day, but what we saw, we liked!
Come to Kenton! - Kenton on Sea boasts miles of unspoilt beaches, protected coves, coastal walks, reserves, with safe tidal rivers for swimming, canoeing, boating, fishing and skiing. There are many options for mountain biking and trail running as well as hiking. This is not only a nature lover's spot. Students love this village built between two awesome tidal rivers, and generations of families have made this spot the place of choice for the summer and Easter holidays. The climate is ideal, and the proximity to malaria free game reserves unbeatable. It is situated midway between Port Elizabeth and East London, so close to large airports, and a forty minute drive from Grahamstown, host city of the annual arts and culture festival. There are no malls, no fast food chains, so everybody supports the locals. Port Alfred is a mere ten-minute drive away with plenty of shopping opportunities, golfing, cinemas, etc. Why would you not choose Kenton? It's idyllic.
