Kasungu National Park Accommodation

Nestled on the banks of the Zambezi, only two and a half hours from Lusaka, lies Kanyemba Lodge. The six stone and thatch rondavels with en suite bathroom, walk-in wardrobe and large veranda, and a thatched family house are discreetly located on the riverbank under the shadow of wild mangoes.

”Chikwenya” literally translated as “to be scratched” is located on the banks of the mighty Zambesi River at the confluence of the Sapi River. The Chikwenya lease area is a private concession of 12 000 acres boundered to the West by the world heritage site, Mana Pools National Park and to the East by the Zimbabwe National Parks Sapi Safari area.

The tented camp has en-suite bathroom facilities, outdoor showers and basins overlooking the waterhole.

Located in the deep shade of tall riverine trees, Kulefu Tented Camp overlooks one of the permanent channels of the legendary Zambezi River. The tents are raised on teak decks and each unit has a private bathroom with a toilet, basin, bath and shower.

Tamarind Tree Lodge offers fully catered lodge accommodation comprising two stone Chalets. The Chalets are discreetly located along the river bank in the shade of very large tamarind and other indigenous trees.

The house boat offers four luxurious en-suite cabins accommodating eight people, and a top deck with a teak bar and plunge pool, accommodating an additional four people with extra shower and toilet.
