Hi Guys, a little Karkloof story. 30km from Howick lies a secluded valley boasting a range of habitats and personalities - the habitat hosts many endemic species but pride of place must go to the endangered Cape Parrot, Narina Trogon, Samango monkey, Spoonbills and our National bird the Blue Crane - all found in the valley. Our personalitiy list is headed by the Legendary Dr Ian Player whose home 'Phuzamoya'- drink the wind nestles in the Karkloof foothills next to the exhilarating Canopy Tours site - my baby 'Rainbow Retreat' is a homely and peaceful getaway where time stands still as you drink in the wonderful, relaxing, atmosphere surrounding you.
