I particularly noticed with regret the increasing number of domestic animals (donkeys and cows) and farm activities close to the hwange national park.
Wild animals sitings are becoming rare i drove to and from vicfalls without seeing game close to the road as used to be the case. The only game I saw was at Ganda Lodge water hole.

We were very happy to hear that elephant culling is not carried out now, and proactive work is being undertaken to spread the herds across the park. The variety of animals across the park is truelly breathtaking - we had the best time ever watching the animals roaming freely. This is a major asset to Zimbabwe - no where in the world have we seen such great sites - please keep it that way! Shame on those that want to shoot these amazing creatures!

Hwange National Park is the largest national park in Zimbabwe. Home to a profusion of wildlife including a healthy population of carnivores such as wild dog, lion, leopard, cheetah and many more. In addition to this, the bountiful offering of plains game is second to none, impala, giraffe, kudu, sable, eland and herds of elephants up to 200 strong and buffaloes en mass too. Hwange is one of the most fruitful and scenic areas in the whole of Southern Africa - it should be the number one destination for a world class safari!
