A home away from home and better,I have kids and they are still talking about HUMEWOOD. Everything you need I'd there and more.

Hunewood...a wonderful holiday destination. Practical reasons: Multitude of accommodation at reasonable prices. A variety of restaurants, from smart to economical. A lovely, spotlessly clean beachfront and promenade with entertainment and amusement for young and old. Beautiful and safe beaches..in walking distance. Near to central Port Elizabeth with its rich historical background and the fascinating Duncal Heritage Trail. Besides the above mentioned practicalities: Humewood has a relaxing atmosphere..... Lively...without being hectic, Vibe.....without pretention,. It has a free, serene and homely feel to it...in Humewood you feel human.

We have personally experienced the "home away from home" phenomenon when we visited Humewood last year. Being away with your family to a holiday for the first time you become anxious and skeptical as you are to conform to the new environment. But I must say those fears and uneasiness were dashed away by the warmth and high standards of service from the time we arrived till the last day we left. Humewood is an ideal place for both old and young family it just accommodates everyone. It is centrally located, ideal for morning jogging, bicycle riding, and swimming for kids as it has abundant swimming facilities, and shopping centers are a walk away from the residents. Though we have been to Port Elizabeth several times a vacation in PE is an experience I would recommend anyone I know to experience it themselves

When leaving Humewood after a stay with friendly, efficient and great staff you feel like you are leaving home, always eager to return. Conveniently situated, close to the beach where you can take a deep breath of sea air and enjoy the sunset and then take a relaxing stroll back Humewood!

Humewood has an amazing stretch of beach making it most enjoyable to swim/walk/cycle in a relaxing environment. Within walking distance of various restaurants and the Casino, Humewood is a perfect holiday or business destination. Most of the Bed and Breakfasts have lush gardens in which to relax at the end of a busy day. Accommodation prices will suit every budget.

I would firstly like to say the new improved beach front area with its walk ways and parks looks really amazing, The Beaches by Humewood are clean and safe, Just down the road is Spur, Ocean Basket, Primi Piatte, The Kelder restaurant, The Snake park, Wonderful sunsets as you on the beach front. Truly a safe and unique experience to PE. I recommend HUMEWOOD as the preferred holiday or business travel destination in PE and also the pricing is reasonable for anyone. Thank you

Very clean environment. Close to beach, airport, casino.

Vacation atmosphere and we experienced it as very safe area for walking.

No supermarket.

Very central to all suroundings.

This is a good place to go and relax as there is hardly any traffic and noise. You can go about your business without much interruption to your schedule.

Humewood is a nice neighbourhood with everything you need. But it is very close to the airport and therefore very noisy.
