Do you wish you had more joy in your life? Well, The UP has a way to share more joy. The UPliftment Programme is sharing the healing power of joy, focusing on bringing socio-emotional welfare and helping to grow a more positive, joyous South Africa.
The Upliftment Programme is a non-profit organisation rooted in the Western Cape, training volunteers to be Agents of JOY nationwide. Since their start in 2003, the UP has reached over 5000 children. With their new PR drive and volunteer systems they equip Joy Agents with the tools to live purposefully by sharing the healing power of joy and intend to triple their outreach by 2010.

A bit about Joy sessions and Nikki…
Nikki Jackman is the founder and Cheer/Chairlady of The UP and with over 5 years experience in the laughter field, she is now actively bringing JOY to adults - through JOY SESSIONS.
Highly entertaining, an enthusiastic and passionate speaker, a real live wire and lots of fun, Nikki just loves to show people how easy living JOYfully really is. The swiftest way to improve your general well being and feel your spirit UPlifted, is to re-connect with JOY.
Besides her celebrity profile in acting, famed for her 3 years in Isidingo as Elise Buller, Nikki is a certified Laughter Facilitator and member of the PSASA. Her corporate experience includes Pick ‘n Pay, Standard Bank, Cape Talk, Shell and numerous others corporations.
The JOY SESSIONS - include a basic introduction into laughter & The UP, as well as an Uplifting and interactive Laughter Session - followed by tips on how to keep JOY active in your life.
