Peace and quiet - Awesome wildlife experience with the family. Never a dull moment. The pool is to die for.
One of the most relaxing holiday destinations - Lovely, secluded, very close to nature! Not far from Hoedspruit and the Strydom tunnel.
Wild Life Extravangaza - Simply put, it is one of the most beautiful towns we have visited in SA - and we have travelled our country extensively over the last 30 years.
Gateway to Kruger - The town of Hoedspruit has everything you need to prepare for a holiday in Kruger. The town is clean and as it is so close to the Orpen gate, I recommend you stay over before entry and buy everything you need fresh from the shops in town! No WW but a very nice P'nP.
Very nice place - Many things to do and to view
Such a relaxing weekend at your camp - We are still trying to get back to reality after such a relaxing weekend at your camp. We would like to thank you for the opportunity to visit that awesome property and will surely make use of it again in future. Although we did not see much animals, it did not worry us because we are fairly involved in wildlife, bush camps and game farming. This was purely relaxation. Thank you - it was awesome.
Hoedspruit - Not enough restaurants and the ones available there seem to have a thing for reservations, even when the only people in there are the waiters.
Spontaneity should be the key!
Lovely - What a lovely part of Limpopo! Wonderful Guest lodges. Definitely worth another visit!
Hoedspruit - Excellent as a tourist destination. Two adequate supermarkets and plenty of additional shops to cater for your needs. Plenty of eating places and watering holes and the people are very friendly towards visitors.
The most quiet place for relaxation - Hoedspruit is a great place for getting away from our busy and noisy city life.
Go wild in Hoedspruit! - Hoedspruit is best known for its perfect location surrounded by Private Game Reserves and only 40 minutes drive to Kruger National Park. It is an all year round destination because the climate is sub-tropical with mild, dry winters.

Eclectic little town - Hoedspruit is situated in the bushveld surrounded by the Drakensberg mountains close to the Blyde River Canyon.
An eclectic little town with lots of interesting restaurants, people and attractions.
Bella Valongo on Hoedspruit - A dainty little town in the middle of nowhere. Close to quiet a few attractions. The Kruger National Park, Amarula Lapa, Jessica the Hippo, The Giant Baobab, Hoedspruit Endangered Species Centre. I wanted some adventure and peace and quiet and that is exactly what I got.
Beautiful nature scenery and peaceful - If you need some relaxation time and you love being in the outdoors, this is the place to be. It offers a lot of gaming activities, beautiful views such as 3 rondavels, God's window even hot balloon rides. It is worth every cent you will spend.
Cosy little town - Hoedspruit itself is a cosy little town. It provides a perfect base camp with loads of activities in the surroundings.
We will definitely be sending more guests here in future!
Lovely place with lovely people - Hoedspruit is a lovely town with lovely people. It's a bit far but the drive was well worth it.
Go to the Hat and Creek - The Hat and Creek is an amazing restaurant that saved our otherwise disastrous holiday, with the shocking experience at the Cheetah Inn. The Hat and Creek is way up there with the best of the best in Sandton and anywhere else in South Africa. The staff are friendly and efficient.
Hoedspruit - Hoedspruit is a very casual town with everything you need. The weather is good and the people are friendly and helpful.
Hoedspruit - Hoedspruit is a truly great place to visit. Small as it is, it has everything - plenty of tourist attractions, very friendly people, lovely atmosphere and a casual, relaxed way of life. I love it and go there very often. And of course it has the weather, gorgeous hot days! The mountains, animals, everything.
Marvellous - this is a good holiday destination, with more a lot of holiday resorts surrounding Hoedspruit, you can never go wrong. it is however far to travel to Kruger National Park with the closest being Orpen Gate. Honestly this town is every body's holiday destination.

Want to WOW yourself? - We enjoyed the area tremendously! Experienced shopping (commercial and curio). Wellbehaved and utterly friendly locals - they know how to "sell" their town as a tourist destination! Bravo! Echo caves, Sculpture Garden and the curio vendors at the Strydom tunnel is an ABSOLUTE must (if these type of activities appeal to you)! Hot and humid, but hey, it is January (the height of summer) in South Africa after-all! Kapama Lodge (5-star establisment) is truly fit for royalty!
Hoedspruit - Very good destination. Lot of good shops, restaurants and accommodation. Lot to do in the area. The Krugerpark gates are relatively far out.
However, driving there is a pleasure.
Great area to travel to.

Five star rating for Hoedspruit - Five star rating for this little town with all facilities you need.
Perfect situated for a great holiday to explore South Africas Lowfeld and the Drakensberg Area
Great place to drive the Panaramic route - we stayed nearby the Cheetah reserve and it is a real bush experience. A long drive from Joburg--but worth it.
United States of America
Ndlovumzi Nature Reserve - This is a large, privately owned game reserve, about 45 minutes drive from Hoedspruit. Once inside the gate, you are free to roam the reserve on your own day or night game drives. Lots of game, giraffe, zebra, kudu, monkeys and baboons, ostrich, etc. Camps inside Ndlovumzi are hot wire fenced from threst of preserve, keeping unwanted animals away. Some properties or directly on the Olifants river, and experience nightime visits by hippos. Elephants have been know to walk the river. This is a quiet, get away bushcamp-for people wanting to get away from it all. Close enough to make a day trip through Kruger too! Great experience!
ONE day visit - lot of interesting shops . many sites to see like silk farm and big Boabab tree.

Campfire Safari - What a wonderful experience...
Friendly people, warm welcomes everywhere, and
the shops is clean and neat, and a pleasure to be in it.
We stayed for a few days at Campfire Safari, in the Balule Nature Reserve, where the atmosphere were warm and friendly, clean and tidy, and relaxing.
I will make a point of it to recommend Campfire Safari's to my friends, as well as Hoedspruit.

Hoedspruit experience - Enjoyed nature. Mohollo was great. thw wildlife esstate was great.
Summer place-Hoedspruit - Hoedspruit is awesome, it is the only place where you dont need a jersey in wintertime, where you can sit outside winter or summer and wherever you are, hear how the Hieenas are calling, most nights you can listen to the lions as well, there is no sunrise anywhere, like in Hoedspruit, you havent seen a Sunset if you havent been in Hoedspruit it is awsome the best place in the world........

Weekend in Hoedspruit - The scenery is lovely, bush, river and mountains. There are lovely eating places where you could just chill. There is enough to see in terms of game, Jessica the Hippo, Boabab Trees, Fruit Farms and many other activities and sights. One could just rest and be peaceful and take in all the bird life.
I would go back to Hoedspruit, it had a good feel.
Beautiful Manner in Hoedspruit - The town was neat and clean, with beautiful views of the majestic mountains, also the flowers alongside the road and in the town were spledid.
There is a lot of very nice places to stay in and around Hoesspruit, the manner we stayed in was beautiful and beyond our expectations, also so close to the Kruger National Park was a plus.
The True Bushveld Experience - A small bushveld village that has evolved into a Tourism Hub suppporting many wildlife lodges, tourists, holidaymakers and doing it with pride and style.
Thereby creating jobs and opportunities for many in the area truly a bushveld town where one can easily settle down.
Maduma Boma - This was an absolute highlight for us.
We had a simple chalet with our own swimming pool.
Having come from Europe, the temperatures were very ideal for us. We even jumped into the swimming pool :)).
We had a whole afternoon for trekking around the farm with Giraffes, Impalas and ohter game.
It was a fantastic experience.
Best of all were our hosts Sue and Barry. Lovely people we will keep in touch with.
A Treasure - The town is quaint with friendly people, the surrounds unspoilt african bushveld with beautiful reserves, and so much to see & do.
Holiday destination - We choose Hoedspruit as our holiday destination as it is ideally located.
We always rent a house which allows us to do things in our own time at our own pace.
It is also 45min away from Orpen Gate - and everytime we have been to the Kruger we have had fantastic sightings.
It really is the best place to relax and spend time with your family.
Fantastic location with a real bush feeling - We travel once or twice a year to South Africa and we like coming back to Hoedspruit. It's a fantastic place with a real bush feeling, not too big and with a Pick 'n Pay and Spar if you are staying on a self-catering basis.
