Hantam Karoo Self-catering

Victoria-Wes Gastehuis consists of two historical Karoo houses comprising five spacious, luxury units and one en-suite unit. The entire complex is walled, well lit and safe with ample parking space. Rates for 3 persons R520, 4 persons, R580 and 5 persons R650.

The Old Stone Shed used to be an old sheep shearing shed and has been converted into a self-catering unit providing a unique experience when staying in the Karoo. Built from stone, the shed has a reed roof and is equipped with electricity.

Die Prokureurshuis is situated in Sutherland and offers self-catering accommodation for 10 guests, eight adults and two children. Guests are accommodated in four individually decorated and spacious bedrooms.

Stuurmansfontein Corbelled House is situated near Carnarvon in the Karoo and has been restored to its former glory to provide guests with an experience of the way life was over 200 years ago. This National Monument offers guests three bedrooms.

Situated on a farm close to Sutherland, guests will find Villa Rosa Guest House. Located near the main farm house, guests stay in a quaint wooden house with three bedrooms.

Rest-a-While is a lovely guest house situated in Victoria West, a typical and flourishing Karoo town on the N12 between Cape Town and Johannesburg via Kimberley, a minor detour off the N1.

Papkuilsfontein Guest Farm is a working veld management and flower conservation farm, offering three self-catering cottages.

These six guest houses are beautifully restored traditional sandstone buildings, typical of the architecture and stone masonry of Nieuwoudtville.
