Description

Dine amidst the cosy and comfortable atmosphere on a 3-course Boere menu at this family restaurant located within the grounds of New Holme Guest Farm.

Situated on the banks of Seekoer River, Blue Crane Restaurant invites languid lunches under ancient Poplar Trees, romantic dinners on the star deck and rustic veld braai’s.

Dine on Karoo farm dishes, succulent Karoo Lamb, Springbuck and beef cradled by lush gardens and the cries of abundant bird life.

Unique meals transpire from homegrown vegetables and herbs seduced by the lingering aroma of oven-baked bread and fruity jam.

Compliment the meal with a bottle of wine pampered underground in the 400-bottle cellar, boasting a variety of fine South African wines.

Blue Crane Restaurant intoxicates the senses with endless temptations and beautiful surrounds.

Directions

Travelling on the N1, 20 km north of Hanover and 50 km south of Colesberg, take the turn-off on the N1 to the Karoo Gariep Conservancy. Follow the signs.

Soek nog steeds daardie rolly polly springbok resep met kaas sous. My family and I stayed here for three days. The spirit was amazing, not to mention the wildskos verasende and other recipe ... more
