Wellwood is located on 10,000 arid hectares of hill, on one of the Karoo’s finest and most historic farms. 30 km north of Graaff Reinet, five generations of the Rubidge family have built up a renowned Merino stud and an oasis of legendary hospitality.

Situated on the tranquil Grootplaats Farm just outside of Murraysburg, you will find Charlton House and Mulberry Cottage which are two wonderful self-catering cottages.

Set in the inspiring Sneeuberg mountains near Compassberg and Nieu Bethesda, this historic working farm, with its 150-year-old water driven mill, offers a range of accommodation and activities including hiking, swimming, and tennis.
